Should the need arise, can I use an Intel MacBook Air with USB ‘A’ ports to restore my M1 MacBook Pro (USB-C / Thunderbolt ports) with a suitable cable or adapter?

Thanks for the prompt feedback guys. My MacBook Air runs Big Sur, so no issue there, and suitable cables seem to exist. Hopefully I won’t need to restore the M1 machine anytime soon 😀
Yes as long as the Intel Mac is able to run macOS 10.15 Catalina.
