Theater mode is turned on. Apple Watch is silenced and its display won’t light up when you raise your wrist.
To turn Theatre Mode off, touch the bottom of the screen and swipe up to see the Control Centre.
Thanks, theatre mode it was.
Thanks, work fine
recently my watch won't wake up when i raise my wrist
that worked. thanks.
All is resolved. First response solved, other responses were also informative. Plus there was an Apple update, and that also seemed to be ‘icing on the cake.’ Thanks to all.
Wonderful. I've done the same thing as a new iwatch 6 owner. Scrolling to see how much charge I have left I did this too.
That was it thank you so much.
I had this problem too.
I had scrolled up on the screen. I had tagged "sleep mode" the symbol looks like a bed viewed from the end.
I tagged it again, and my display was restored to what I expected.
