mousepad

my mousepad is moving but it isnt clicking on anything and im trying to shut down my laptop but it isnt working.

touchpad glitching I recently left my laptop in my car during winter for a day and I tried opening it up and it opened. But then my mouse cursor does not want to move. I restart my MacBook Air and then half of the touchpad would work and the other half would not. And other cases it would do its own thing and go all over the place. What can I do to fix this?

TRACKPAD ISSUE My trackpad suddenly freeze out of nowhere. The first aid I did was turn off my laptop. I thought it’s fixed already but it came back after just a few minutes. When my mac is turned off, I can softly touch the trackpad but when it’s turned on, there are times that it’s having its issues. Also, there is no update available. What should I do?

Mac Pro is a desktop....

You say "laptop"—you can always force a shut down if necessary by holding the power button/TouchID for ~6-10 sec

Reboot as normal and test.
