Trackpad stopped moving verticaly (only moves horizontaly)

My trackpad will only move horizontally. The magic mouse is fine, but the trackpad wont move. I rebooted the system and the magic mouse as well.

I would like to mention that the laptop is almost brand new.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.4

TrackPad not letting me do anything other than left click. Pls Help I left my laptop on, went to eat, came back and it wont let me do anything other than left click and move mouse around. It doesn't let me right click, switch windows, scroll or anything of the sorts. Every time I try to do one of these action like scrolling, it just acts as if only one finger was on trackpad and just moves my mouse up. I just settings and everything was fine and I also tried restarting

Try and restart the Mac to see if the issue is persisting. If the issue is persisting, I would suggest Contact - Official Apple Support to set up hardware service, as your MacBook is almost brand new
