System hanging

I HAVE A MACBOOK PRO 15 2017 RUNNING 11.5.1. LATELY I GET THE SPINNING BEACH BALL WHEN CONNECTED TO MY LG ultrafine 4k . Everything was fine in the past. Any thoughts ?

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

if no resolve—Try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
