Non genuine camera errors

Having non genuine camera alert from last couple of days though my iPhone never touched by anyone and never been to any technician since I bought it and whenever I open the camera it’s portrait mode isn’t working and it shows 2X zoom , anybody there to help me out !! What to do !!

Not genuine Apple Camera message So I have my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I’ve had it since 2020. A little after I got it (through Xfinity) I got a “not genuine apple camera) in my settings I’ve read it was a glitch for a while. But ever since portrait mode doesn’t work purely on my back camera. It did once for a day after a update (can’t remember which one) then stopped working. I don’t want to pay to replace my phone since I haven’t gotten it fixed. I got it this way. Is it just broken or should I suck it up since it’s been 2 years and just replace it? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Important Camera Message I noticed that some apps have been having issues using my phone’s camera lately and would display a black screen when activating the camera to scan barcodes or take pictures. Today after wanting to take a picture and only seeing a black screen with the camera not turning on I decided to restart my phone and see if that would help but now I’m greeted with the message about my phone unable to verify it had a genuine Apple camera. I’ve never gotten my phone serviced and had it since it launched so I’m not sure if it’s a software related issue or if the camera could be damaged? Along with that message I noticed that I’m no longer able to use the ultra wide camera so I’m unable to zoom out like I used to when using it. It seems like it affected how far I can zoom in and out when looking through the lens, with it defaulting to 2x zoom every time I launch the camera.
