I sometimes fall asleep while listening to music/podcast but my headphones don’t always make it back into their case. The new iOS now ONLY plays alarms through the Bluetooth connected headphones. How do I restore so that the phone speaker plays the alarm, instead of only through the headphones?

Hello Jeff, I’m afraid you misunderstood my question. After upgrading to the latest iOS, the alarm now ONLY plays through my Beats headphones. So if I fall asleep and my headphones are still connected via Bluetooth, the alarm ONLY will play on the headphones and I do not hear it (because the headphones have fallen out of my ear during the night, etc).
So my question is how do I get my alarm to play via the phone’s speaker, and not only through the connected headphones.
I have the same issue! No alarm in phone speakers when my airpods are connected. I sleep with one airpod and often fall out of my ear and then I get no alarm. Please fix this!
Same problem. I was late for work as the alarm didn’t go off as usual on the iPhone speaker, only in the AirPods. I need IOS to provide a reliable alarm. Apple please fix ASAP.
Has anyone been able to resolve this yet? My alarm is playing either on my speaker in the other room or on my watch which is not loud enough! I’d like it to play through ONLY the phone
I have the same problem, probably with the most recent update. Quite annoyed by this, late to work a few times allready.

ok it’s nice that I’m not the only one with this issue, but it would be even better to get an solution. This thread is leading nowhere, how can I get in contact with a real support in this matter?
This does not fix the issue.
Updating to IOS 15 resolved this issue for me.
I can’t use the word without my comment being auto removed but it starts with a B and ends in ETA.
Its not a great solution but the issue was frustrating enough for me to upgrade.
