i use my watch on the bottom of my wrist versus to top while working out .. wouldn’t I get better accurate numbers that way since our pulse is on the bottom ?

There's no right or wrong place to have the watch as long as you have it tight enought so the watch can read the sensors.

Having it at the bottom of the wrist means you can easily catch the side buttons with your hand and amongst other things this can pause your workout without you realizing it.
