New 2021 Mac Book Air Smells Moldy

I purchased a MacBook Air Rose Gold and as soon as I opened the box it had a horrible mold/mildew smell. It was so strong I had to take the Mac back. I took it back and the second one they have to me the chord smelled like a horrible Moldy smell. It was so toxic it made my eyes water and throat was irritated. I still can’t get the smell out of my house. I’ve read other reviews of people having the same issue. the thing that sucks is that I traded in a 2020 Mac Book pro for it and so now im out of money. I wished I would have known the new Mac book air was defective because I would have kept my old $2,500 Mac book pro
