iMessage won’t connect with phone number

I am unable to send iMessages thru my iPhone 12pro max. When I bought the phone it worked fine and one day I quit receiving texts from other iPhones normal messaging works fine. I have tried everything including creating a new Apple account and receiving a new phone thru warranty.

You need to change/add the number on your Apple ID. You may have to add the new number before you can remove the old number. After the change, allow up to 24 hours for the change to sync. Before trying to make the change, sign out of Messages/FaceTime on all devices/computers.
