caps lock / shift key causes system crash MBP 13" M1

I'm having a problem when using shift key or caps lock key enabled. I've noticed that within a few days of typing uppercase using the left shift or caps lock key enabled, the typing in uppercase will start to lag and then eventually crash the system only when I type uppercase letters with either left shift key or caps lock enabled.

The system crash produces a report and I've been hitting OK to send to Apple.

After the system crash, I'll be fine using the shift or caps lock key and eventually keyboard presses with uppercase will become slow to respond displaying again and eventually crash again.

I've also noticed on twitter, I'll lose the ability to use the delete key, copy text or continue typing after trying to use the delete key on a reply tweet.

This happens in iMessage too.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try the latest update macOS 11.5.2 to see if it straightens out.
