VPN pop-up

Yesterday I updated my MacBook Pro to Big Sur. After re-starting it I get a pop-up about VPN-connection and having to give authentication-information. I have never made an vpn, so I don’t get where it’s coming from. However under system settings -> network, it says NordVPN IKE under VPN-program. It constantly says “connecting…”, and I can’t turn it off. You should be able to use WiFi without vpn, so it seems like the pop-up is blocking it? My wifi is connected and perfectly fine, but can’t use safari, Spotify, etc. please help!

Go step by step and test.

1. Restart the router.

2. Deselect Proxies, if selected.

System Preference > Network > Advanced  > Proxies Tab

Unlock the lock if you have to.

Under "Select  a protocol…”, uncheck any box if check-marked.

   Click "OK” then  "Apply”.
