iMac 24 (2021)

Hello , can i find out why i am running out of RAM on my mac ...? I do music and when I open a project in Ableton, it already shows + 14-16 frames ... and now, if the project is a little full? what should I do then ... why are so many frames eating an Ableton with such a monoblock?

Application Memory & MacPaw Gemini 2 Hello. I'm operating Monterey 12.0.1 on a 2017 iMac, with 64 GB of RAM. The computer is out of application memory, but the applications open use 525 MB. The Activity Monitor shows Gemini 2 -- a duplicate file finder -- is using 137 GB of memory. (1) is this what is using 56.44 GB of App Memory? If yes then, (2) How? The screenshot below shows that it is not one of the apps running. (3) How do I stop the Gemini 2 application from using App memory when it is not being used? Thank you.

Run out of application memory when I shouldnt? My macbook air keeps saying I have run out of application memory when I definitely havent, as the ram should be 8gb and these definitely dont add up to 8gb??

Activity Monitor to read System Memory and determine how much RAM is being used is the tool you would use. Look for the section on View memory usage in Activity Monitor.
