I can't figure out how to share a PDF file from my Apple IOS using e-mail.
When I highlight the file and click "Share" the apps it suggests are : Books, Acrobat, and Notes.
If I click on the "More" icon, it lists "Favorites" with those same 3 options. There is no option to manually add any other app.
This should be an easy thing to ask it to share the file via email, but I can't for the life of me figure it out.
I went to my files app on my phone. I was able to hold my finger on any document in the files app, to bring up the share button and choose email. I didn't have to open the file. I would contact Apple directly for additional support if you can't do that on your phone.

How about doing it this way. Open the PDF, then use the share button from inside the PDF.
From within Acrobat, I used the Share function which stores a copy and then e-mails it to me. So I guess that is the only way to do it? I just don't understand why you can't simply attach the file from the iphone into an email... there must be a way
Thanks for the reply! When I do that, it shows "On my iPhone" and the only folder displaying is "Word"
Is there a way to modify this so that it will show other file types (PDF)?
That leads to my original question of why the only apps that come up as available with the "share" function are Books, Acrobat, and Notes.
