Iphone SE 2020 Camera Clicking Sound (and speaker issue)

A continuous clicking sound shows up whenever I record a video with my Camera app, whether I'm using my front or rear camera. I can bypass the problem if I download a different camera app, so I know it is simply a software issue. Other users report the problem disappearing when they restart their phones but that doesn't seem to solve the problem for me.

I also have a problem with my the top speaker (the one I hold up to my ear for phone calls) being too quiet but that is likely an unrelated issue. I can't really use that speaker unless I'm in a very quiet room. I usually just default to my headphones, speaker phone, or bluetooth in the car.

Hi, ihaveaphonequestion, and thanks for reaching out. We understand that you're hearing a popping noise when using your camera for video recordings. We'll be glad to look into this with you further.

To begin, do you use a case or screen protector with your iPhone? If so, try removing those and see if this issue persists afterwards.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
