MacBook Pro won't power on but green webcam light is on

Hi.

My work MacBook Pro was working fine yesterday but when I tried to turn it on today I can't. The green webcam light is on which seems odd.

I have done a few hours of googling and tried several of the troubleshooting options e.g holding the power key down for 10 seconds; doing an SMC reset, but nothing seems to work.

The green light turns off after I holder the power key down for about 5 secs but turns back on soon after.

Can anyone help with this issue.
