iTunes Search toolbar results not including the genres

Hello community !

I've got a technical unsolvable question for itunes users : ii have a big library of music, i often write myself the "Genre" as i don't find the right one in the offered list... but, when i use the toolbar search to find things in my library it doesn't include the put in "Genre" section... it's really annoying as i use that a lot to identify musics.

other way of asking : how can i make a search in the section "Songs" with keywords which include in the results all the infos in Artist/Album/Song/Genre sections ? (which was possible before)

Thanks a lot for the answer and sorry for my bad english

Cheers,

Manuel

Use the Songs view, make sure the Genre column is enabled in the view. Use View > Show Filter Field to display a new search box. Use that.
