my iMac plays music on the iMac speakers but not the HomePod mini, the HomePod mini is connect to wifi and they are on the same network

my HomePod mini is not playing music from my music library on my iMac computer. I play the song on my iMac and it plays on the iMac speakers, when i go to switch to home pod mini it stops playing the song and the music doesn't play on the home pod mini

Force quit the music app
Restart the Mac
Restart HomePod: Open the Home App

Long press on the HomePod icon to bring up settings, scroll down to the gear icon, tap that, scroll to the bottom to Reset HomePod - then select Restart HomePod

Update all software including the iOS device you used to set up HomePod with
