Purchased an Iphone 8 which appears Sim locked but can't identify to which network its locked. Got Sim cards for all 4 UK networks but none recognised, how can I identify to which its linked. Bought from a auction house who buy in bulk so they have no details of previous network
Try the Get Support link at the top of this page and ask the Apple support person.
If you are on the latest version of iOS you should be able to go to Settings > General > About > Carrier Lock.
And Apple couldn't tell you who it was locked to?
Check with the person from who you bought the iPhone from.
There are websites that might tell you the network device is locked to but I would be careful to provide any personal details.
Your other option is to get SIM cards from carriers in your region and test the iPhone with each one of them.
Hmm, the only times I know that the CAPTCHAs don't appear is if there is some sort of blocking in-play. Something like a software firewall, Anti-Virus app, ad-blocker/DNS proxy ... like Pi-Hole or AdGuard.

Maybe the web browser you're using? Sorry, just trying to rule anything out for you.
Did you try solving the CAPTCHA when using the referenced IMEI-checker website to get the result? ... or is there some other issue preventing you using it? Regardless, there are other IMEI-checker sites available; however, they may charge a small fee to use them.
