Hearing aids compatible with MFi are only officially supported on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

I don't know much about hearing aids or the MFi program, but I would assume that accessories made for Apple Watch that don't have to do anything with fitness tracking are a low priority in terms of development, especially when these MFi hearing aids are already certified to work with the paired iPhone.
Be aware this is pure speculation on my part.
Thanks for answering. As I know, my hearing aids, by means of a special app, are able to work with the paired iPhone. So it shouldn't be very hard to do same with the watch. But the manufacturer of the hearing aids (and the App too) should do, not necessarily Apple.
For completion: The App's Version for the watch gives a callers sound to the watch, not to the hearing aid devices. Iphone does. A direct connection would solve the problem. That's the reason behind my question.
Thank you for the helpful answer. Do you no about development activities or intentions for including MFi-support on Apple Watch? And if not, why?
