Voltage through chassis of MacBook pro

Whenever I charge my Mac, I get a 55v ac reading from the chassis of it to earth. It’s not much of an issue per se but it does give off a strong tingling sensation in my hands when I type. Is this normal? All my MacBook accessories (charger) came with my MacBook originally. Thanks.

I would recommend the 3 prong adapter— so that it is grounded....


It used to be included with purchase, but not any more. The are Universal so any old one will work as well.
