mac.com bounces back

when I send an email to my mac.com email address it bounces back. If I'm logged into icloud, I can email from it, but I can't email TO it from another email account.

Mail sent to the @icloud.com and @me.com domains are being received. All outgoing mail is being sent (and it is being listed as being sent from the "@mac.com" domain unless I send I message to myself using the @mac.com domain. In the preferences, all three domains are listed as alias's. This seems to have started on Jan 1, 2021. No preferences or settings have changed in the mail app or on the server icloud. Anybody have an idea how to solve this issue?

"ReSend" in Apple Mail sends from wrong account This is a small but annoying bug I can't figure out how to resolve. I need to resend emails on occasion from my primary Mac.com address. When I go to my Sent folder and hit "ReSend," it always creates a new email from a completely different Gmail account I almost never use. Does anyone know an easy way to fix this? It does not happen on any other account, even a second, separate mac.com account. Just my primary mac.com account. Any ideas how I might fix this? Much obliged, Mick

Receiving emails My @mac.com address is, after 30 years, not receiving emails from some senders across all devices. I am receiving most emails normally but new senders emails frequently don’t reach me, even when replying to an email from me. Impossible, of course, to tell how much this is happening. I just notice it when something I am expecting doesn’t turn up. Been happening for around 2 years now. Can’t find a solution. Would change Apple ID but literally my whole life and business is attached to this one! Any ideas? (Also, not sure if related, I sometimes see emails on my iPad which disappear and cannot be found.) Thank you.

Solution: I changed my apple id to icloud.com and it works now.

Does the bounced message give a reason? I assume your iCloud storage isn't full - that would do it. Can you get a friend to try emailing you so that you chan check whether the problem is with iCloud or with the sending account.

It says: Cannot Send Mail

The server rejected one of the recipient's addresses. The message has been placed in your Outbox.
