That’s not true. My case is A2190. Left AirPod A2083. Right AirPod A2084. When I look in settings on my phone it says A3000. I scanned the barcode on the unopened box using https://checkcoverage.apple.com/

and they are legit…

As u know I got mine directly from the Apple Store. And they were not refurbished. And I paid the full price. So I will go up there w my receipt and AirPods and see what they have to say about that. I also went to https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ and checked. And it matches the date exactly 1yr from my receipt date. The noise canceling has been one of the issues for the repair or replacement program they are running

The silicone ear tips can be a very tight fit, this is normal. Pull harder even if it feels like you are about to break something.
