Does anyone know what the ejection key looks like on a MAC/OS 27" SCREEN? Also is it true that the only way to eject the disc is to hold down the option key while rebooting then once the mouse icon appears, hit the eject key for a few seconds? Wow, that seems like a-lot just to eject a disc, especially on an MAC/OS. WHY WOULD THEY MAKE A SIMPLE EJECT SO COMPLICATED? ANYONE???? lead404 thanks you much!!!!

Hi, lead404.... the ejection key looks like this:
you should be able to eject a cd via a top menu, at least, it shows up on my Mac, and has done so for many years. You can also program your mouse, if it has more than one button on it, to eject a CD/DVD. you can also move the cd/dvd's icon to the Trash and that will eject it as well.... follow this link to add an eject icon to your top menu bar..... really, it's not super hard to do and it comes in very handy: the link says it works on Leopard or Later, so from 10.5 on you're good to go....anyways, here's the link...
