ghost touch on iphone XS ios 14

Ghost touch on my iphone XS making it very unresponsive. I have tried Restore from Itunes so using the latest ios 14. I have tried disabling slide to type and also cleaning screen without success.

Externally screen is fine, has not been dropped, has no screen protector, and has no case. Apple is refusing to fix this screen unless I pay for a new screen replacement. Anyone have any success in getting Apple to fix their screens due to this issue?

Seems like there is an issue with the X and 11 (

However, nothing is being done with the XS. From all indications, it seems to be happening to a lot of XS owners as well.

Nothing is being recalled on XS because no such inherent fault has been recognised.

You should arrange a service or repair

Anything other than Screen or Battery may be a replacement phone and the price is in the article.

If not covered by warranty and you don't have AppleCare+, you may have to pay full replacement cost for severe damage
