Where are Settings for Apple TV

There is no screen on the remote, so I press the Menu button the remote, but don’t know where the Settings icon is supposed to appear.

“Settings” is an app on the Apple TV home screen, as displayed on your TV.

“Menu” would take you a step back in the navigation ‘tree’. Do so repeatedly until you reach the home screen, depending on what is currently on screen.
