Free space to AirDrop files

I am attempting to airdrop a video from my MacBook to my iPad and/or iPhone. Both state there is not enough free space to do so. My iCloud has over a TB of space and both iPhone and iPad have over 100gb free.

If anyone has any options that I might try, I would be grateful.

Read this thread this morning. I have plenty of space and everything backs up to iCloud. All software is up to date.
