Memoji not working

Hi,

i have an iphone 12 pro max and it’s running on ios 14.7.1 which is the latest update but I still cannot seem to use the memoji function on my iMessage. Everytime I open it, the memoji box displays tap to resume, I tap it and it freezes for a millisecond and says the same thing and it’s an endless cycle. It just does not work. I have restarted my device and I have also no issed using my face id and my camera and the device is in pristine condition. Please help me with what I can do?

Hi,

I tried creating a new one too and it still does not work. Even the preinstalled templates of other animojis like the octupus etc don’t work.

To verify, is this issue occurring on a previously existing Memoji? If so, try creating a new Memoji and see if that works as expected.
