Mac Messaging Scrambles

If this doesn't work, you'll want to test this issue in safe mode to help further isolate this issue. If you're not familiar with starting up in safe mode, check out the resource below for guidance:

Depending on your results, you'll want to follow the steps listed under "If the issue continues in safe mode" or "If the issue doesn't continue in safe mode".

This is a consistent problem for me too. I've tried all of these options, but there is clearly something wrong with Messages.
