If it’s still in the home app:

Long press on the HomePod icon to bring up settings, scroll down to the gear icon, tap that, scroll to the bottom to Reset HomePod - then select Remove


If it’s not in that you can try on your iOS device in settings: Apple ID - scroll down through devices and Remove
