Are memory modules from a 2011 27" iMac compatible to install in a new 2020 27" iMac ( 2667 MHz DDR4 )?

Can Memory modules from a newer iMac be put in an older iMac? I've got 2 8gb memory modules that came out of my iMac retina 5k, 27-inch 2017, can I put them in my wife's imac 27inch late 2012?
