Apple Watch shuts off on wrist

Last week my watch had a battery of 10% out of nowhere it was almost fully charged. I thought maybe I didn’t charge it. Then my

it was overheating. I had to hurry and take it off. Then I turned it off. Then it kept coming back on. I just left it alone until I could go home and charge it. After being charged it was fine until I put on my wrist then it shuts off and only turns back on when being on charger. If I don’t put on wrist it’ll stay powered on. I updated and force restart. I set up as new watch and still does it.
