Iphone 12 mini, 14.7.1 fw. Alarm clock sound doesn’t play through the internal speaker IF a bluetooth device (earpods) is connected. I’d like the alarm to play everywhere! Is this a bug? Hiw can I fix this?

If you consider this to be a bug, then you need to report it as such. Go to www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html and when reporting, select Bug.

I don't believe you will get an alarm sound on the iPhone if you have headphones paired. I just tested this on my iPhone 12 Pro and my AirPods Pro and the alarm will just sound on the headphones. The only difference that I found the first time I tested it was with my Apple Watch on. With that on, it sounded through the AirPods Pro and the Watch. Once I removed the Watch, it only sounds through the AirPods Pro.
This is not good. I come from an iPhone 6, and the alarm clock plays everywhere, even if my bluetooth earpods are connected.
Also, I like to fall asleep with a low level radio in my earpods, and the alarm will play at that same low level, no matter where the rigner and alerts volume slider is set.
To me, this should be considered as a bug in the firmware, and should be addressed asap.
