Slack notifications not muting when Do Not Disturb is on

Hi,

When I turn ON option Do Not Disturb I still can hear sound from slack app.

When I go to System Preferences -> Notifications -> Slack and turn off option "Play sound for notifications" I still can hear sound when I get new notification when Do Not Disturb is active and when it is not active.

Is there any sollution for this problem?

There is a bug with the App Store version of Slack that causes Slack to not respect the Do Not Disturb settings in macOS.

Here's the solution:

1. Quit Slack
2. Move Slack from your Applications folder to your Trash
3. Download Slack from their website directly (not the App Store) https://slack.com/downloads/mac
4. Install Slack by following their instructions (i.e. move it to your Applications folder)
5. Open Slack
