I already did Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding and turned it off for my MacBook but I'm still receiving texts on my computer from my phone. Is there something else I can to do to stop this? I do not want my texts forwarded to my computer but I do not want to sign out. I want the option of being signed in so I can start new threads from my computer. I had it like that before but I can't remember how.

well— you can Sign out of Message on the Mac.
