As others have asked without (I think) a good answer, how can the lock key on key board be disabled? This is on the "cheap" version, just the key.
It's right above the delete key, and I've hit it several times while editing ... it's very annoying.
I don't want to remove a password, &c. I just want that key not to work (or only work on double tap or long tap or something).
I hope I don't have to take a screw driver to it.

I’m glad it has worked, Karabiner sounds as if it could also be helpful for people with accessibility issues.
I downloaded Karabiner, but I couldn't find the lock key in the pulldown menu. Any tips would be helpful Mahaloki.

Thanks. This seems to have been added with the new update. I didn't see the option "Lock Key on Magic Keyboard without Touch ID" previously.
I have the same problem, it is really stupid idea to put lock button on a keyboard... Hey, Apple, give a way to disable it, it is impossible to use this good in other aspects product.
