Alchemy doesn't seem to be available even though it shows in plug-in manager.
How do I insert Alchemy when its not showing up under instruments?

There is not only alchemy missing. In the plugin manager: select the missing (or all) plugins and press reset and rescan selection, wait until the scan is finished, have a look if the appear in the plugin menu. If not, restart your computer, this is always a good idea, which solves 50% of the problems.
