UNiDAYS for Sixth form

I’m going into year 12 in September and have been saving up to buy a MacBook . With UNiDAYS I can get the student discount when buying online, however I’d prefer to buy instore so I can ask questions etc. I’ve done some research and customers have said they have been asked to show university acceptance to get the discount instore. All of these entries are 5+ years old though so I’m not sure if it’s the same. Will I be able to use the discount in store despite being 16 and not going into university? Thanks.
