Yesterday I got notification that my Apple ID name was changed, and when I login this morning there is now a new device signed into my Apple ID and while I can click on the remove button, the popup text says "This device will reappear if it is still signed in and connects to the Internet." and when reloading the page, the device is still there.
Is there a way to remove the device permanently?

Thanks for reply, but that doesn't really answer my question. I know how to remove my device but how do I remove an unknown device which while removing it, gives me the message 'This device will reappear if it is still signed in and connects to the Internet.'
