Can a canon MF4700n printer be used with my 24inch iMac?

OK. Yes, it should be possible to use the printer in question with your iMac (except if it is one of the oldest 24-inch iMac models). Please confirm the model year.


Do you wish to use a network (Ethernet) connection to one of the LAN ports of a Wi-Fi router? Alternatively, a USB connection would be possible.


To begin with, it may be a good idea to reset the printing system. Does the operating system offer a suitable driver to use when (re-)adding the printer?

If necessary, go to one of the above support pages, choose your operating system version, and download the appropriate drivers.
