base system erases accidently

I was factory resetting my mackbook air then I accidently erased one of the base system in disk utilities. and now a circle is appearing with a oblic mark inside it every time i force restart. please help me.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.5

The macOS Base System isn't supposed to be erasable. It's the macOS Recovery image on your Mac. What steps did you take to erase it? I'm genuinely curious as I thought this was supposed to be impossible.


Also, which of the following are you seeing at startup?
