phantom external display (FIXED)

How do I solve for: I set up my MacBook Pro to have 2 external displays (LG HDR 4k) and a third monitor appeared as well (not my laptop, but a third "phantom" monitor which I can move items onto, but can not see them...please help.

So, I had this problem briefly explained above and after researching it and looking around the apple community, I saw that there were quite a few other people experiencing this weird/annoying issue. unfortunately, I was unable to find a solution online BUT after playing around a bit, I DID FIND A SOLUTION.

Simply, I had an extra USB-C to USB-C cord attached (my LG monitors each have to inputs for USB-C; one with a pic of a monitor and electrical bolt and the other with just and electrical bolt). I also happen to have a Black Magic GPU, so (a) the set up is a bit counterintuitive and (b) there are more than a few wires involved with this set up.

Long story long, I simply had an extra USB-C cord from my MB Pro to one of the LG HDR's. I simply shut down the computer, removed the second cord and viola. That was some real Black Magic.

Good luck!
