My 12-year-old daughter has an Apple Watch SE (the standalone watch for old/young people) which is tethered to my phone because she doesn't have a phone. When she takes a screenshot where does it save? They do not appear in my phone's Photo folders or screenshot folder.

I finally found them within the Apple Watch on my iPhone in General -> Diagnostic Logs -> Screenshots. Not intuitive at all, but thanks for the reference article.
