USB malfunction

USB Issue Dear all, I have been experiencing a lot of USB problem. Why Apple is still having so many problem in manage USB connected device. Mac Pro 61, 2 x Mac Pro 3,1, MBP Retina 2015, MBP 2019... Every time a connect a USB key or external USB Disc (with non Apple FS) I have to reconnect several time changing the USB port to make the device visible. Is it possible that Apple is not able to recognize a USB device? I connect an USB key but nothing happens. So a Disconnect the USB not recognized device and an Thunderbold 2 device is automatically unmontend and remounted. Apple... Please hire good programmers and designer. In this manner I think it could be embarrassing... Any suggestion. Some thirty part driver?

MacBook Pro M2 not detecting usb drive, mouse & keyboard One of Thunderbolt port (MacBook Pro M2 13 in') not detecting usb drive, mouse & keyboard? (No any physical damage, this happened suddenly. I brought this 3 months ago as brand new. Until now everything worked fine)

usb not showing up or working plugged in an old usb this morning, it popped up right away on desktop and i accessed the files. I walked away from the computer for a bit and i saw some notification about an error with ejecting or something, ( to be honest i dont exactly remember what it said). Now the USB will not show up or work. It doesnt show up in system information/disk utility. I have tried restarting, shutting down the computer, resetting SMC, NVRAM, cleared system caches, i have plugged it into the second usb port and nothing has worked. I know the ports are fine because my other USB works fine in both ports. The only thing i havent tried it plugging this USB into another computer because i just dont have one or access to one. Im not sure what to do anymore and im lost, i need this data on this USB.

Thanks for following up . . problem was resolved with a Safe Boot . . . USB port sprung to life.

You do not say what exact Mac this is...?
