my scanner hp3830 seems to have a malware

What Mac model and year do you have?

What system version are you running?

Did you run any system updates just prior to this happening?

Is your scanner the HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer? If so it's AirPrint capable according to this Apple document: About AirPrint - Apple Support

so do the following:

1 - go to the System/Printers & Scanners preference pane.

2 - Control (right) - click on the HP items and select "Reset Printing System" from the contextual menu:

3 - click on the + button at the bottom left and add the printer back while choosing the AirPrint option.

How are you trying? Has it ever worked before? Have you tried directly from image capture?
