When I press a key two of them are pressed

When I press a key two of them are pressed which are not side by side. for example, pressing “0” or “-“ gives me “0-“, while pressing “cmd” or “n” both give me “cmd + n”, opening a new document or whatever I have open.

Try using an external keyboard. If the issue only occurs with the built-in keyboard, then the built-in keyboard is bad and needs to be replaced. If the issue occurs with the external keyboard as well, then you may have some keyboard setting doing this or perhaps some third party software issue.
