Apple Id Change

Hello, I changed my apple id email address recently. If a person had used my old email address to contact me through FaceTime, will this change prevent them from doing that again?

Or would they be able to see my new email? I am hoping to conceal that change and they would not be able to contact me.

Apple ID How do I change my Apple ID so my phone number is connected to message and FaceTime? My Apple ID settings just says that my email is for my Apple ID and my phone number just stands alone and I asked my friend and she said that under her phone number it said that it’s connected to messages and FaceTime. How do I fix this?

2 apple ids OK so I have no idea how this happened but at some point I ended up with two Apple IDs. I think my first ID was back when there was still the me.com and I had to keep that email address after that basic service went away because I have so much stuff associated with it and have no idea how to transfer it. So I guess it kept that separate Apple ID. I use a different address however for my main Apple ID. Hadn’t really even thought about it until I tried to use FaceTime. My iPhone primary is my “newer”ID and that’s also associated with my iPad. However FaceTime on my phone is using the old one and FaceTime on my iPad is using the new one. I don’t want to delete my old account because it will take away a lot of emails that are critical and I have no idea how to correct this or if I can

I don't know this for sure, but it sure seems they couldn't send to you.

In Messages>Preferences>iMessage, what eMails are listed?

You're right, it's no longer listed there. Hopefully I should be ok. Thanks for the help!
