cant scan on my express 2875fw laser printer, i can print wired or wireless but not scan eithe wireless nor via usb. please help

I am sorry you are having scanner problems. If you will bear with me, I will offer some things to consider which may be useful. Whenever we install an operating system upgrade or some OS updates, printers and scanners will often stop working. Then a new OS compliant software must be installed. It is downloaded from the scanner software manufacturer's web site. Experience has shown that many printer/scanner manufacturers are very slow to provide updated software. What you can do is to thoroughly check the vendor's web site for updated compliant software that works. If none is available, then you should ask when it will be released. If that doesn't work, you can try scanning using Apple's Image Capture app. It will scan, but is not full featured. Another alternative is to download and try the full featured scanner software from VueScan. You can try it for free. It will show a watermark until you purchase it. I bought it and can recommend it. The Samsung Xpress M2875FW is a model supporting the driverless AirPrint technology (About AirPrint - Apple Support). This means that additional drivers from the printer manufacturer are not needed (if the computer and the printer are connected to the same network).

Have you tried scanning via the macOS Image Capture application (also, see page 250 in the manual http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05790356.pdf)?

You might give this a try:

1 - go to Macintosh HD/Library/Image Capture/Devices folder. 

2 - Control (right) - click on your XXX scanner app and select Open from the contextual menu.

3 - click on the Open button in next window.  

If the folder in Step #1 isn't there try Users/Home/Library/Image Capture/Devices

Click on your Desktop and then use the Go ➙ Go to Folder menu item.

Enter /Library/Image Capture/Devices followed by the Return key.
