A problem accessing voicemail suddenly developed ~3 days ago. People calling my iPhone can still leave messages, but I cannot access them by listening nor visual. This means that callers think they have left a voicemail, not knowing that I cannot access it. All I see is that a voicemail was left.

You can try a force restart If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support
If that doesn't help contact your cellphone provider and let them know.
