iPhone 12 shows up then disappears on itunes

I have a iPhone 12 pro and went to restore my backup from my old phone and when I plug my iPhone 12 it shows up for a min then disappears. So I can’t restore or backup my new phone on my computer. I’m using iTunes on Windows 10. I’ve used different cords and the cords work fine with my iPhone 6s and iPhone 8 too. When it quits showing up it still shows charging. And now I reset the privacy and when I go to trust computer the message won’t show up on my iphone.

Now if older devices are able to connect, the version of iTunes you're currently running may be older. You'll want to check for any available updates for the iTunes program.

Update to the latest version of iTunes

If things are up to date, you can try these steps for connection issues: If your computer doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod

If your phone is still unable to connect with the computer after that, we'd recommend contacting Apple for assistance: Get Support
